The Loneliest Whale in the World.
In 2004, The New York Times wrote an article about the loneliest whale in the world. Scientists have been tracking him since 1992 and they discovered the problem:
His calls are at a different frequency to the rest of his species. He doesn’t belong to any pod of whales, he swims alone, and continues to call out in a voice that goes unheard by the rest of his kind.
